Support the world's first non-combustion air energy storage project
All major equipment for this project must be domestically produced, which not only poses challenges in terms of research and development as well as integration difficulties but also faces significant challenges in power plant construction and operation due to the lack of standards.
As a leading domestic variable frequency technology enterprise, Hope Senland have been selected as the core equipment supplier for this project. Provide a set of high-voltage variable frequency starting devices and high-voltage variable frequency speed control systems for the ultra-high power compressors in this project. The equipment loaded and started in April 2022, and the system integration test has been completed in May 2022, followed by production commencement.

For the nearly 30MW ultra-high power synchronous brushless motor and high-precision multi-stage large compressor, Hope Senland provides a unique synchronous motor control algorithm and independently developed control method. This enables the compressor to have low-frequency ultra-large starting torque and a completely smooth start-up curve without any impact. It achieves a 100% success rate for on-site soft start-ups and meets the expectations of long-term stable speed regulation for ultra-high power compressors.
The project is facing multiple technical challenges, such as the coordination of multi-stage compressors, frequent storage and release, rapid start-up, and multiple resonance points. Hope Senland team has withstood various pressures, rooted themselves in the project site, and based on the actual situation on-site, made real-time adjustments to the technical parameters and control strategies. As a result, each problem was successfully resolved one by one.
From technical demonstration, product design, and installation and debugging, Senlan's technology has been recognized by multiple units such as Qinghua University, Jintan Salt Industry, China Huaneng Corporation. This has laid a solid foundation for the development of new energy storage technology in our country.
